We have been very fortunate to have some of San Diego, North County most enlightened teachers lead us through the full moon, mindful meditation hikes.
For many years, our community has gathered on local beaches and in the mountains east of us to walk together under the full moon.
These simple yet profound gatherings invite us to realign with nature’s rhythm—reminding the body of its innate connection to the circadian cycles of light and dark. Science continues to show that time outdoors improves sleep quality, reduces stress, and balances mood, while shared experiences build trust, acceptance, and a deeper sense of belonging.
A mindful walk by moonlight is at once personal and collective: it restores the nervous system, awakens presence, and nurtures the bonds of community. Whether by the ocean’s edge or along mountain paths, each step becomes an opportunity to embody calm, compassion, and connection beneath the timeless glow of the moon.
We will keep you updated as to when we are having our next
full moon mindful meditation walk, and all the pertinent information
I made this video in the back of the Yoga Mandiram in Cardiff on my first computer via iMovie. Enjoy
There are many reasons to walk in nature. Some are backed by deep scientific knowledge. Others are intuitive. Still others are unspoken.
Simply because it is too profound for words, unless of course your Irish. Why you ask? The Irish 300 words for rain and many thousands for walking in nature.
Turned out to be a massive revolutionary community event.
