Henry is a Zen Master in the Sanbo Zen tradition and served for many years as the spiritual director of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is also an accomplished poet and writer, and his memoir, One Blade of Grass, tells the story of his spiritual journey, drawing from youthful struggles, a transformative awakening at nineteen, and decades of training with respected teachers. These experiences have shaped the compassionate and integrated way he teaches meditation, healing, and awakening.
Over the years, Henry has visited our Yogashala many times and remains a cherished friend and supporter of Yoga Mandiram | Dennis Dean.
