She teaches modalities for individuals to lessen the burden of stress on the mind, body, and heart. She leads mindful yoga classes and works with clients privately.
She has taught the acclaimed 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course, started by Jon Kabet-Zinn, at Scripps Hospital for 18 years…
She currently resides in Maine and occasionally comes out to the West Coast to delight us with her quick wit, humor and deep understanding of the wisdom teachings.

Julie Chippendale , BSN has a long background in Nursing and is also a highly trained MBSR teacher which she has been offering at Scripps Medical Center since 1996. She is also a certified yoga instructor, and certified massage therapist. With a passion for mind-body healing through connection, she brings a wealth of experience to anyand all environments with a special focus on the Mindful Movement.
